Feelings Don'T Rule Me Today
Feelings aren't my master these days for sure
Even when they hurt me deep in my core
Today I have a solution to them ruling me
And that solution is God his strength is key
No matter what I feel I won't go backwards
I'll keep trudging and keep moving forward
For the ones who hurt me I'll just pray for them
Instead of holding onto to anger &staying grim
I've learned from my past that keeps me sick
So no matter what I won't fall for that trick
I'll keep moving forward and never look back
Because my life is staring to get on track
God has me and I'm so grateful for that today
So I'll sit my butt right here and just stay
