Architect of Truth

My eyes, a canvas so white
Your brushes drew no light.
The architect of truth, still -
Your past, your legacy and will. 

A haven we walked through.
'This world will hurt you,
Petals, as shards will cut
A haven is anything but.' 

I broke and buried bricks, your truth
To hate the words that built my youth. 
I found your fear and worry
My truth now remains blurry.
