Soar

You won't clip my wings
Lies don't change a thing.
Time for me to roar
Awaiting my chance to soar.

Soon memories will fade
For false promises were made.
Perhaps on both inclusions
There's only one conclusion.

The bite of life has struck again
Venom can't be sucked as way back then.
My wings are prepared for flight
My heart knows this is right.

Lies don't change a thing
You won't clip my wings.
Time for me to soar
As I turn and roar.
