Like a China Doll

It’s official I’m like a China doll,
Put me on a shelf till you decide 
To brush off the dust to be with me, 
I know in time I’ll be forgotten,
With every passing day with cob
Webs, and piles of dust and never
Resting, cause you see China dolls
Don’t shut their eyes to sleep, they
Wait..

Sometimes, I also felt ignored and neglected by those closest to me. You have described a good comparison to a China doll.
