Depth and Vagueness

Maybe we look for depth in shallow souls..
hearts that don't perceive intent
minds that do not comprehend silence
spirit that are always in tune with dancing never a pause.
Ungrateful it may seem...but I am built of more
I want to unveil, ravel the moment question the why?
Yet assumptions is what we mostly drown in
 blind to masterpieces
scared of looking through things
unwise to the strokes made by the brush called life
Or just maybe some things are not meant to be looked at with depth?
 Just maybe.
The yearn for finding more maybe prejudiced, over thought and just wrong
maybe we need shallowness
maybe it needs no search of meaning
maybe that is the beauty of it..to be glanced at not stared
maybe the vagueness really is necessary.
 Just maybe.

You write a poem that many will relate to.. i think many of us want to help and that in particular applies to those with shallow souls, who too often can be narcissists. You wrote a wonderful poem here..
