Mother, A Miraculous Word
(Here sleeps my mother rest in peace!)
I have none, whom I can call mother,
I miss you when the phone rings, and have none for me to ask
‘How are you my son, aren’t you asleep yet?’
I see everyone around me, while you are just a memory!
When I prostrate for prayer, and you whisper to me;
‘Well done my son, live with the fear of Allah’.
Mother is a miraculous word and nothing to define,
Mother, you taught me to rise to the skyline and keep eyes on the ground.
I miss you mom, especially during the night falls in the dark,
You have enlightened me and brighten my thoughts.
My every wish you fulfilled with pouring love in my heart
You were the glorious witnessed of humanity.
I miss you mom, as you were the kindest tree, and
You made my life is a precious garden of peace.
Mom, I am lost now, I am nowhere, and
No place to hide my sorrow or treasure my love.
The reminiscences have thrown in the sore of nostalgia.
I couldn’t realize how much pain you went through
How much you suffered for breath against death!
My heart shredded and ribcage departs from the vein, I bleed!
I’ve no tears left, my eyes become Sahara,
I simply exist with counting your memories.
The days I couldn’t even count though at most 65,
Now, I can count 65 years in pain, and you wanted to live for us,
But you never lived your own life.
No, you haven't lived even a single day for your own dream,
That everyone does.
I miss you in every minute is counting by the wall-clock
I am here only a rotten maniac to recall the memories.
Today, I miss you most, pardon me, mom
I am a failure son, mom; I couldn’t hold you back,
Still, I am holding your finger to cross the fortune.
