Winter Woods

Wanderlust grows with the silence in a woods of snow.
As I look beyond my window,
Mounds fall from weighed branches,
Ice melts from power lines that my eye catches.

It doesn't last long here.
The beauty of a winter woods
That contrasts with the pale sky and the rosy cheeks consealed under hoods.

It doesn't last long here.
The snow lines trees with graceful flare,
and the satisfying breath of life into the cold air.

As I look beyond my window,
The gentle falling of the snow,
I take in the beauty of a winter woods.

Such a beautiful piece Jenna, nice rhyme scheme with good imagery too. You look new to PS, welcome to this site and hope you're enjoying it here. Blessings, Gordon
