Alone

On a cold quiet night,I stand alone in the dark.
Not a single person in sight, not a single noise to be heard.
I look to the sky above and wonder if your out there somewhere, missing my love.
I stand alone in the cold wondering if I will ever find someone new, someone who will love me
as hard as I loved you.
The empty hollow feeling I now know, the hatred and heartache raging within has replaced
any true heartfelt loving emotion that ever existed.
With a sufficiency of bitterness only malevolence resides in my soul, with so much animosity
that it should remain untold.
With the deepest desire that raves in my tormented soul,I can only hope that your out there
somewhere just as cold and alone.
