Our Lives Are As One

I think of you every so often your friendship
and memories remain unbroken
I miss you my friend as I wait for the time
we are together I just can't wait
The moonbeams shinning
as I wait for your command
Comanche is coming
I see his beautiful tan.

I see beside him my steed and my son's

We wait for your Becky
we wait till the night is done
We ride to the moon and we touch the stars
My son is in awe at the rising of the sun
He is our connection he knows the way

He is our innocence
Oh how I remember those days
When we would play and talk here online
Telling our secrets and letting everyone rhyme
I miss those days and I remember them well
I miss you my friend my sister
In heaven above.

I like the way the title flows throughout the poem. Missing a family member can be a very tough thing to deal with. There are times when I really miss my brothers. Great job and welcome to poetry Soup! ~Joseph
