My Name

Say my name,
            Utter my appellation,
            Let it caress your palate,
            Each letter emitting slowly,
Sprinkling each letter softly as you surrender it from you lips.

            Say my name,
Send it swiftly in the air,
            On a gust of wind,
            Let it reach my ear.

            Say my name,
Whisper it while the willow tree's branches sway,
Syallables freely floating in the atmosphere.

            Say my name,
In a ray of sunshine may it glow,
In a droplet of rain transparent may it rest.

            Say my name,
In a snowflake let it lie pure in a white world,

            Say my name,
In summer may it touch a rose petal,
In fall may it soar on a brilliant fallen leaf,
In spring may it bloom and blossom like the lilies of the valley,
In winter may it gleam on the arcs of an icicle.

           Say my name,
           Caress it with emotion,
           Let it reach my ear,
           Let it reach my heart,
Where I'll hear it in my soul.
