Invisible

No one ever comments on my poems.
Does anybody see them?
The view counter says yes, but I wonder 
Does anybody read them?

Maybe they are just rubbish,
Maybe they are no good.
Maybe I should stop posting,
I wonder if I should?

But then I need to ask myself
Who am I writing for?
A random bunch of strangers?
Who I aim to bore.

If no one sees my poems 
Written on a site.
Are they really poems?
Or just random thoughts I write?

I often wonder why a poet has 350 views on one poem, and I have only 50? The poems were posted about the same time. I question "am I doing something wrong?" Then I try to dismiss the thought because I write to please myself AND my momma likes them; it is a win-win. Keep writing, Be blessed, Chetta
