It Happened On A Misty Morning

Wettened by the morning's dew
Closely spaced where rows of roses grew
Footprints stained the cobblestone
Where my love and I had walked, alone

I saw you in the morning mist
Those dewy eyes and sweet lips I’ve missed
Sun came out, you fade away
How can I exist another day
