Siblings Bond

Sometimes it’s right to let tears fall,
To not “solution” through it all.
Some moments let us simply feel
The weight of loss, so deep and real.

My grief, it honors who you were,
A sign of love that will endure.
The proof of all you meant to me,
A bond that lasts eternally.

But I know you loved me just the same,
Not wanting grief to be my chain.
Your wisdom and your gentle smile
Remind me life is still worthwhile.

So until the day we reunite,
I’ll strive to shine a brighter light.
In gratitude of precious grace,
Live peaceful hope in God's embrace.

Though memories may come with tears,
I’ll cherish them throughout my years.
