My Lovely Cumbria

Dry stone walls
And rambling lanes
Fell ponies with six foot manes
Farmers at the market with sheep to sell
Snow in the winter blocking shap fell
Wellies in the kitchen
Straw in the hall
Not forgetting the barometer on the wall.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

What a vivid lovely picture you have painted with your poetic words. I see you have only posted one poem. I would love to see more. You have a poetic heart, Wendy. Sincerely, Elaine
