Runaway Love

I sit here listening to our wedding song
Pictures dancing in my head
And i cant help but sing along
To the memories that never got to be.

So ill listen
To all those songs we used to sing
Even if it start to break my heart
Ill take the pain

Runaway love
You're gone with the wind
When i hear your name
It takes me back to those places
We should have been

So even if it hurts this time
I have to say goodbye
And ill listen to our wedding song
Everytime i sing along

Runaway love
You're gone with the wind
When i hear your name,
It takes me to that place
Our love could have been

 Runaway love
 my runaway love

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
