The World Is Alive

Joanne arose from her bed at early dawn,
In the shimmering lake swam a white swan.
While the rays of sunlight shone down on her,
There stood a silvery fir.
Prancing across the green field was a doe,
Shining vividly, the sun will always glow,
In the luminous skies, blue as the seven seas,
The tall blades of grass, danced in the breeze.
Perched upon a tree is a bright blue jay,
The wildflowers in its intense colors sway,
The blue jay sang its beautiful, sweet song.
Underneath an oak tree, standing tall and strong.
Across the meadow, she laughed and ran,
"Spring has begun!" said Joanne.
Listening to the newborn life of spring,
“Oh, what a beautiful thing!”

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
