Heart of Steel

It feels funny being locked up doing this time all alone,
you say you love me but there's still no money on the phone.
you said you'd ride and if i had one you'd post my bail,
but time has gone by and i still haven't got a letter in the mail.
you said you'd be there but it seems like you faded away,
i love you, your my husband all of that was easy to say.
Action speaks louder than words and you really aint doing it,
thats why when i get out in my arms you will no longer fit.
I remember on the streets i put your needs before mine,
hair dos, nails done lett'n you spakle and shine.
I actually believed you were the one for me my wife, lover and friend,
but i know there's better cards in the deck so im throwing this hand in.
you say your mine and you can't eait til theses people set me free,
but how true can that really be if you can't even come see me.
Messing with you i finally realize the real mening of the word phony,
but lat it bother you to much cause im far from being lonley.
I hope one day some one abandones you and you see how you made me feel,
cause thanks to you my blood is thick and flows through a Heart Of Steel!!!!
