Dear To Me

Dear To Me

My house is on fire! I know what to do,
Grab my wallet and cell phone too.
The smoke it’s thickening and I hear a loud pop,
Slipped in the bedroom and snatched up my laptop.
I’m moving so fast my legs became chafe,
I need all my valuables locked in my safe.
I panic a bit and start to feel numb,
I cannot leave without the family photo album.
Everything is burning and it’s all very dear to me,
I shall not lose my hobby so I rescue my Fuji.
As I race out the front door I didn’t know what to think.
Glad a grabbed that bottle of Scotch for a farewell drink.

A pleasure to read your rhyme, Eric. Brilliant to grab the bottle of scotch as your last item. Congrats on your win.
