I Know You Cant Hear Me

I know you can't hear me... but I need you to listen

We used to be such good friends
We talked and talked until the night ends
I never meant to hurt you...

We shared laughs and jokes
We shares dreams and hopes
I never meant to hurt you...

You were to be admired
You were a good son, brother.. and to be desired
I never meant to hurt you...

I never knew if you really cared
I never knew if for me you dared... despite how they talked and disapproved
But, I never meant to hurt you...

What did you expect me to do??
I did what I thought was good to do...
I never meant to hurt you.

I've moved on now...
I've got a man who is good and strong and loves me like you didn't
I've learned what love looks like, and I've learned to REALLY enjoy it...
I have learned to love and please me...

What we were has past,
I'm planning to make THIS good thing last...

I know you cannot hear me, but I needed you to listen.
