Ancient arenas
Dot valleys of green
Olive tree lined
Stoic serene

Gone is the echo
The sounds of the play
Done is the suffering
Of Antigone

Daughter of Gods
Caring and kind
Her brother’s keeper
Loyal to die

For the nymph I am with
