One More Try

Love hurts, that is true
I can't imagine my life without you
They say when time flows it's like water
Hold onto the chance, cos' it's now or never
But just like water,
holding you was impossible-- there's just no way
I tried to hold onto you but you still slipped away
In our love story anyone could see
How fate is cruel for you and me
Others say love is sweeter on the second time around
But the heart and trust given to you once, you repeatedly broken down
Is it just me or it's really getting out of hand
Was it because our love sank like a quicksand
Now that I moved forward
You came back
My heart you re-shattered
Piece by piece it cracked
Funny how I still question why were we ended hastily
Your love, it lasted once, but we didn't end happily
That night you left, it brought me sorrow
Can't believe again you've made me cry
Now, Our love, Tell me
Does it deserve One More Try?

The Playful Wind

Have you ever loved the wind,
and as it caress your face softly;
and as it helps your mind unwind,
you shiver delightedly.

Have you ever seen him dance,
imagine it flowing before your eyes;
and comes with a new romance,
he hugs you with warmth--indeed very nice.

Have you ever envied him,
as he could decide when and where to go freely:
and as anger starts growing within,
how he could leave without a word swiftly.

Have you ever loved the wind,
and feel it playfully come and go;
Promised each day to don't mind it,
just to be needing it more each day to live on.

The Balcony

I watched happily as he stepped foot on my terrace,
All night we talked and he made my heart race.
But every time the night ends we had to part,
Bid our goodbyes, as the day will now start.

We can not be seen together,
For our love has always been forbidden.
So what if he's a commoner,
So what if he's a heathen.

If it weren't for my veranda,
I'd stay trapped in this jail where they put me.
Shutting me out from the world,
Not even once listening to my plea.

Another night I awaited, but you didn't come.
I waited for hours just to face the harsh reality
With large bags in both hands, there you are with my sister.
As if ice cold water was poured over me, I felt numb.
They were right, you really did use me

Heading back to the place where it all started,
I went to my portico.
Where happiness grew every time he climbs up,
Where everything blew by the moment we broke up,
I came here to feel, I came here to be free.

The ground disappeared from beneath my feet,
As I floated in the air with not even an ounce of despair.
The wind tried to stop me from falling,
but gravity defied and continued pulling.

Hitting the ground with a loud thud, I just jumped off.
I can feel the satisfaction as I slowly fade from reality,
But why is it that I still feel empty?
Remembering that this emptiness begun and ended at the balcony.

Because of You

My sky was pitch black,
Thought I'd drown in misery--
But then there came You.

My heart, it did lack,
Thought it will remain empty--
But then there is You.

My smile was intact,
I was happy, finally--
'Cause now I have You.

The Art of Hate

I hate vices;
Temptations,
Lies,
Hatred,
And Darkness.
But now these are my vices;
I succumb to the Temptations.
I eat and throw up Lies.
I am fueled by these Hatred.
I am now one with the Darkness inside.
Does that mean I hate myself?

Mind Out

The clock's now ticking,

My time's out running.

Life, slowly fading,

Am I really close to nothing—

In darkness a part of me dwell,

Not even anyone could tell.

In a mask covering the real side of me,

Willing to get destroyed, but it's not that easy.

I thought I suffered enough of these vicious games,

Sweat, Blood and tears I shed to thee.

I never thought I'll keep on taking this pain,

Even tho I know it's already been killing me—

In my mind i keep on replaying, Go put on a smile.

I won't get hurt for i'm already numb.

Nothing can destroy this Elastic heart of mine,

Not even a knife trying to rive it into half.

Tho as fast as the rain it slowly poured down,

What a bitter gift of thee.

Blurry eyes, Broken trusts, lies and vows,

Curse those things, why hold unto me.

And as the cycle goes on patching up one lie with another,

Gracefully it created such illusions in life.

It grew on and on and now it's deeper,

Just like a stab made by a sharp gauging knife.

I want to let go, I want to move on,

Because what's the point of holding still.

What'll be the point of what i've been fighting for.

When everything I've been through is surreal.

Help Me

Let it be known to them like a poisoned dart--
But such composure so strong a fool could decipher.
Untainted innocence for such with a jet black heart--
That such faulty ignorance was what made it shatter.

These words enough to fill the significant parts--
Enough, it was not, to cover up these scars.
May seem tame in sleep; Although treacherous by day--
Those who meddle further, who only gave prices to pay.

Have they no mercy, leaving consequences only I was to face--
As "hate", such a word so endearing I spat to their face.
In spite and despite what's left of this little dignity--
Down on bended knees, at least for once, hear my plea.

The debt I was forced to pay, I took it all--
For the freedom I seek in exchange of my fall.
In the end, no one's willing enough to catch me--
For now, I just need someone to Help me, and come save me.

Have

Had I those mesmerizing eyes,
To stare at all my days.
Had I that luscious lips,
To kiss and sing of praise.
Had I those rosy cheeks,
To bathe my lips upon.
Had I those perfect hands,
To intertwine with mine as one.
Had I that incomplete heart,
To fill with the pieces of my own.
Had I that perfectly imperfect person,
That I could call my own.
But there's this fact that
It wouldn't have been sad,
If I just had started with
"Have" and not "Had".

Confusions

How can one consider the truth, true?
When can one say what's false is false?
What if the truth is what's false and what's false is what's true?
Believe me, I am saying of the truth because I'm lying.
But am I really lying when all I speak of is the truth?
Now tell me, who is really lying and who is speaking of the truth,
The girl with skeletons in her closet or the boy who cried wolf?
Who is the liar, is it me or is it you?
