Skyla Crowley Poem
The ocean pulled her under.
She didn’t let out a scream.
Instead she stared in wonder
Imagining she was in a dream.
Her body was floating and sinking;
She was stuck somewhere in between.
Water was entering her airway
And she couldn’t help believing
How lucky she was this day.
To die in the deep blue
The only place she’d known.
This may have been a tragedy,
But at least she was finally home.

Skyla Crowley Poem
Fragile as a flower;
Disappearing by the hour.
She’s fading from reality;
Everything is imaginary.
She lost the thought.
She has been caught
Talking to the air,
They say nothing is there.

Skyla Crowley Poem
Planted in the ground
Away from all the sound
Dipped in the mud and mess
Placed an inch from the rest.
And as my roots grow,
I am stuck here down below
To this earth I am bound
Deep under the cold ground.
I strain to see daylight.
Wouldn’t that be a sight?
To see me lift my head
Above the earth people tread.
So, I'm growing under the ground
And hoping someday, I will be found
