Afterlife

Eighty one years, just a blink of an eye, in a moment of mortal decease, the stars, rained down from the heavens above, crumbling decrepitly at her feet, an incandescent divine light emerges, peace befalls the spirit and soul, engulfing her sorrow, releasing her pain, from contrived tribulations and woe, letting go of what was once an existence, feeling euphoric her heart is serene, she finds, she is more than just alive in death, she finds that she is free.

Behold the Rapture

Forsakenly barren,
the world burns around me,
pyretic tears freefall from sore eyes,
turning to dust on cold shoulders,
hysterical lament in screams, I can't bear...
Perpetual darkness reaping cruel devastation,
grey skies cover the earth in ash,
forever consuming, it never sleeps,
time abandons the traditional hourglass.
In resonance, the rocks call out their creator,
mountains crumble as if made of sand,
heaven has fallen and with it came light,
and, behold.... the promise land.

Falling Into Fate

Days fade out of control,
like time against infinity
the night is still with radiance,
and the stars are still with certainy,
Tomorrow is anything but inevitable
like fate making itself known,
as we fall into it's eternity,
as we fall into our own.

My Demons

Fates twisted souls before, but not like mine. You can see it, can't you? Tell me, could I be your tragady? This girl breeds hate in her veins, I am cold, but I won't hurt you, my demons are not misplaced. Though I cannot control these devastations, they are mine, and I am consumed by them.
