Shooting Star

I am the light you see at night
I am the air you breathe
I am the child being born
I am the old man dying
I am everything you see, feel and hear
I am you and all you are
I was once a shooting star
Sent across the galaxy, charged
With bringing life,
To watch mankind, evolve and grow
Into what, we still don't know

Not Gods Plan

Who are we? Do we know?
Lost in time as we climb
Through history to make our mark in this life.
We pretend that we are the masters of our fate
When all along inside we are terrified.
Clinging to a piece of understanding
Of the why's, the what, and the who.
And sometimes we make some sense of our reality
In the sublime existence for instance.
Will we ever find some piece of mind?
I kind of doubt that we'll work things out
In time to save ourselves from ourselves.
We were given Paradise and yet we kill and destroy
This planet called Earth, our Mother, our Home.
And most are selfish to think we are all alone
In a universe with trillions of suns still thinking
We are the only ones.
I am writing this to help you understand
The way we have gone was not God's Plan.
So listen to my words, I speak from my heart.
I cannot do this all alone.
I am just one soul.
You need to make a decision
And understand the difference
about God and religion.
Right and wrong
Left and right
Dark and light.

Just One Man

If all mankind could see what I see
 and feel what I feel
then we could all help this planet to heal
from toxins pollution and disease before it brings us to our knees
and I am no one special I am just one man
but I appeal to the world we must make a stand
before it's too late too late for the forests
too late for the seas too late for our children die from
 disease
I am just one man let the world hear my voice
and know in your hearts that you have a choice
it all starts with you and you know who you are
your are Terra's shining star
I am just one man
