I Smell Snow

As she lies awake she can smell the air.
Cold and calm.
Peaceful.
She hurries to her door.
She runs to the street and inhales.
I smell snow.
Her favorite time of year.
The lights and decorations.
The glistening of the snow.
Everything brighter.
Prettier.
She takes a deep breath.
Then it snows.
She stood there smiling.
She watched the snow come down.
Playing in the air.
Each snowflake falling.
She breathed in.
Life was always better with snow.
Hot chocolate and movies.
Friends by the fireplace.
Scarfs, touques and mittens.
Everything was right in her world.
She smelled snow.

Lust

It sounds good in my head,
but it confuses my heart.
I want you to feel my soul.
Not the curves of my hips.
I want you to know what makes my heart race
Not how to get me aroused.
I want you to feel my heart
Not the warmth between my legs.
When you say you love me,
I want you to mean it.
When you say you love me,
you mean that you lust me.
Kiss me with passion,
Kiss me with love.
Kiss me like its the last time you would.
I want you to know me.
Like I want to know you.
I wish you loved me,
They way you lust me.

Tracey

Missing you has never been easy.
Its gets harder every year that comes.
My heart was ripped in two
I wish you were here.
But life was oh so cruel.
Now I cry in silence
Remembering that goodbye.
You walked away laughing,
I yelled that you had to come back.
You promised you would.
You said you wanted to see your nephew
You promised you would be there.
But that was our last goodbye.
If I had known,
That was it.
I would have never let you go.
Now I sit here wondering what to do
Wishing to hear your voice
To see your face
or to just say goodbye
You went to fast
You went so young
No one saw it coming
I wanted to thank you
or to say I love you
or give you last one hug
But that can't happen
At least not yet
So until then I will hold on tight
I will never forget all of our memories
You are my aunt my best friend
To the depth of this universe.
I will always love you
I will never forget,
until we met again
Rest In Paradise
Enjoy the view
I will see you soon.

Deep Sleep

The brightness of his blue eyes started fading.
He watched the girl he loved fall into a sleep.
A sleep that no one could end.
Every emotion overwhelming his soul.
He thought about every single moment.
From the time they met,
to the moment he fell in love.
To their very last kiss.
He enters her mind.
He lays on the cold ground where they first met.
Watching her walk towards him.
Waiting for her.
He stands up and kisses her.
He asked her for the last dance.
He dreads telling her she will be asleep.
He choose to live 60 years with out her.
Her last wish is happiness.
They dance.
Then he says good bye to his love.
Sadness starts clouding everything.
All he wanted was his one true love.
How could he live a day with out her.
She was everything.
She knew him better then he knew himself.
With out her,
he was a monster.
She was his better half.
He knew he would wait a thousand years.
She was his life.
He finally felt love.
Until we meet again.

Step-Moms

Thank you for everything you've done.
You do not get this often,
You are wonderful.
You are kind.
You are loving.
You kiss boo-boos
You wipe their tears.
You cuddle them when sick.
Your love is pure.
You didn't have to
But you choose too.
You made this choice.
That they will thank.
You may have not birthed them.
But you are just as important.
Shaping their minds.
Showing them real love.
Unconditional love.
You help with the good
and put up with the bad.
You do everything that a mom would do.
With out that title.
You may not be mom.
But you are.
You have blessed that child.
Continue to love.
Continue to care.
Everyday is worth it.
With love,
A Step-Mom

To My Father

I am sorry I dissapoint you.
I am sorry that I will never be what you wanted.
I am sorry that you are full of hate.
I am sorry you don't know love.
I am sorry you missed out.
I am sorry you wonder what went wrong.
I am sorry you abandoned me.
I am sorry you didn't care.
I am sorry you lied.
I am sorry you are unhappy
I am sorry you are scared.
I am sorry you are dramatic.
I am sorry you are lame.
I am sorry for you.
I am not sorry for me.
I am not sorry my life is great.
I am not sorry I found love.
I am not sorry for I have lived.
I am not sorry I am strong.
I am not sorry for my "dad"
I am not sorry for my mom.
I am not sorry for what you gave up.
I have so much more.
Sorry I am not sorry.
