I love sleep
But
I don’t love dreams
When my heavy eyes
I close to doze,
To dream not I pray
For dreams are traps.
I don’t love dreams
Not at all
Last night I dreamt
Mother Hen I was
Golden eggs I laid
But I was trapped!
To a foul smell I awoke
Mum beat me for soiling the bed.
The other day I was trapped too
I dreamt I was in a race
So fast I ran
I wanted to be first
But before I could win
I fell from my bed
Now my limb limps.
Dear dreams
Could I sleep peacefully?
Your traps I hate
Could you stay away?
Just away from me
Is it possible?

This sheep is big
But this sheep is not a ship
This sheep is not a chip
So this sheep is not cheap
Anywhere you can’t pick
But this sheep we keep.
This sheep is just a sheep
You call it a ewe
But this sheep is just a sheep
This sheep meets sheep
But these sheep are not ships
So these sheep are just sheep.
This sheep can skip
But this sheep can’t speak
So don’t call me a sheep
This sheep is the sheep
I am dearer than this sheep
Better than the sheep and ship.

A face is like a case
From place to place
A lot it can showcase.
When with anger you enlace
The face becomes a fireplace
Its fury away it’ll chase.
A face is a voice
It can wail or rejoice
What it talks is your choice.
A face is a staircase
It catapults to the airspace
Or drags to the base.
A plain face is an empty vase
On it nothing you’ll trace
Such is out of place.
Be full of grace
With bliss lace your face
Let all embrace your face.

I love your smile,
Your rays so warm,
You shine my home.
But sun at noon,
Why do you burn?
Mmmh! You make me wet,
Wet with sweat,
Why do you burn?
Evening sun,
Your gold I like,
I wish to hug,
But why do you sleep?
I hate the dark
Please shine at night,
I beg you please

Flowers are so beautiful
Flowers are so wonderful
Oh! What a creation
I so love flowers.
Some are small
Some grow tall
Then they fall
But I love them all.
Looking so nice
Flowers colour the world
Purple and pink
Yellow and white.
What a sweet smell
Of flowers I tell
At school I will grow
At home they will glow.
