Thesaurus Dreams

He was my thesaurus dream,
I met him in the days of geometry and algebra.

He always appeared learned and enhanced,
A rainbow I couldn't touch.

An essay of nouns, verbs and adjectives,
A narrative and descriptive essay of my dreams.

A sphere of silence between him and I,
I grew to love him, handsome to look at and accomplished athletically.

He would never know he was my fish and chips, my favorite egg nog,
My favorite thesaurus whom I hope to keep with me always.

I would choose him to be the teacher and then I would hope to learn,
I am at home with you a passage learned and scholarily.

My planet revisited, parallel universes that could be friends and companions,
How difficult humanity, we aren't Gods yet God guides.

Complex and versatile as the sunrise and the sunset,
I always pray for a miracle called reunion.

God's Sculpture

Winter arrives and God's sculpture is seen everywhere,
Snow as white as cotton, on the rooftops of the houses.

Trees brushed with snow along their delicate branches,
Spruce and pine trees and boughs, God's Christmas Card.

Snowman white and round with eyes and mouth made of coal,
And a carrot nose, topped with a black hat and winter scarf.

The sounds of the sculpture are silent and reverent,
Only the sounds of the wind can be heard.

Parents and children creating these snow scenes,
Sounds of laughter, enjoying God's sculptures.

Mountains of snow, tall and small,
With smooth and rugged angles.

God's winter sculpture, his portrait of excellence,
To be appreciated by humanity.

Winter weather is a friend and not a foe,
And whereever you go God's beauty reigns.

The Seasons That Rhyme

I have walked through the seasons of the year,
Summer brings us the warm sunlight,

The beautiful nature portrayed by the calm lake and tall trees,
A swim in the recreational swimming pool.

The exquisite blue jay perched in an evergreen tree,
The flutter of a monarch butterfly.

Sending summer's song to nature,
The cool days of autumn come.

Tall green maple trees,
Tinted by God's sunlight .

Walks by the conservation area,
Squirrels scampering about.

Discovers of the enhanced nature,
The winter's snow ascending slowly.

Each snowflake an intricate pattern,
Blanketing the earth.

All purified by the whiteness of the snow,
Spring comes and the snow melts.

The warm weather arrives,
Cheers us and befriends us.

The blossoming of the buds on the trees,
To welcome us.

God's garden come to life.
What a blessing from the Lord.

Good Knight

The palace could be seen in the distance,
Mountains complimenting the azure sunset.

He entered the palace gates,
There she stood at the aged portals.

He had returned the good knight,
Climbed from his steed and embraced her.

You have returned my love,
At last we are together again.

He gazed into her beautiful eyes,
The days without you have been lonely.

She welcomed him into the living-room of the palace,
There stood a very large oak table.

With very statuesque chairs,
The table had been set with delicious foods.

They supped together oblivous of the time,
Shared stories brave and romantic.

Their evening was filled with joy and laughter,
They retreated to their romantic haven.

He promised to stay and never leave again,
They lived a traditionally beautiful life together.

Schooled Excellence

Days of learning,
Teachers of value and kindness,
The language foreign and then familiar,
English, a refined mode of learning,
That leads to higher education,
Favorite teachers that mentored comprehension,
Crests and awards to recognize achievement,
The blessing to be there with friends,
Choirs and drama,
Sports and athletics,
Normal progression,
With some exemplary results,
Humble fashions with excellence,
Graduations you reflect on,
Days and nights with parents and relatives,
Simply miraculous,
God's blessing.

The Lord's Kingdom

The sacred days at church and many beautiful blessings,
The minister and the choir resounding traditional songs of the church,
Many excellent and philosophical caring companions,
Guidance of a kind humantity and religion,
To walk the earth as Jesus did, my favorite teacher,
His profile defined on the church wall,
The lush green of the countryside,
Tall trees and plants, pines and maples,
Squirrels scampering about playfully,
The sound of songbirds seranading God's kingdom,
Rain like percipitation refreshing the land,
Godly companions and relatives that make life worthwhile,
The Lord's blessing bestowed upon us.
What a miracle the Lord's kingdom.

Talented Retirement

To live a talented retiremant,
i dreamed of a normal retirement,
Meeting classmates again coincidently
Getting together for a cup of tea or coffee,,
To be with the church,
When I retired that all began,
A storytale retirement,
I did participate and did things,
 I have never done before,
I wrote two books, "Living with God",
The next good book"The Sounds of Christmas",
My poems were well-liked by the seniors at the residence,
I gave them as christmas presents one year
Blessing my relatives and friends,
I was featured at the Open House as a guest poet.
They praised my accomplishments,
We had a lovely reunion with my relatives,
The sound of music came honestly,
I taught myself as a teacher to play many songs,
A friend came up to me and said,
That they would like me to play for the birthdays,
I played the piano for the birthdays and socials,
Previously I had sung with the choir,
I participated in bazaars,
A well-respected poet and pianist,
I said to myself, perhaps I have practiced all my life ,
Just to be featured today as a senior today,
I met a future mayor of our city and a bishop of our church,
I had friends that were ministers and lunched,
I thank God for the many accomplishments and blessings,
We have a beautiful conservation area nearby,
Many hikes and lovely walks guested with relatives and friends,
A retirement that is blessed by the Lord,
To have been blessed to share my retirement with my father and relatives,
To have discovered my favorite miracle singer,
These are the many blessings of God and I am truly thankful.

Diamond Jubilee

We celebrate her majesty Queen Elizabeth's reign,
Majestically guiding us with excellence.

This year is diamond jubilee,
So fancy and free.

Persons everywhere cheering,
They show they care.

Lunches and socials galore,
Garden parties to adore.

Her model kingdom,
Respected by all.

Viewed on the television,
Received as an excellent passage in history.

Music and song,
Poetry and story.

Beautiful ways to cherish the day,
Always our favorite royals.

Dancing Tree and Pine Cones

A beautiful breeze touches the branches of the evergreen,
The branches come to life as if they were dancing.

The branches a gentle green,
Clusters of pinecones can be seen.

On a windy day the pinecones fall from the branches,
Falling gently on the green grass.

The pinecones have a delicate perfect structure,
When you view the pinecone.

Appears tree like,
As if God had painted the pinecones.

An exquisite pattern,
Simply for humans to enjoy.
