On the Mountain

Here, sunshine forms my halo.
And my arms turn into wings.
Learn to fly on this mountain.
In a sky where cool wind sings.

I found home with the spirit.
I grow strong upon the shores.
Joy I find on my mountain.
To live free for ever more.

Jupiter

Prophets say it will take light years
to touch your ringlets and swim into your oasis,
lending auburn nights with passion or regret.
How many gods live among those bright comets?
I want to rumble in your stones, pellets and neon gas-
below, my mortal skin swells under a realm open
the sun, the moon, your galaxy swarm inside me
as I watch your torches pulsate , enticed!

Generations

So many generations that
have lived and grown and died
were really only waiting
for their life pains to subside,
into perfect peace projections
that bring comfort to their shade
as through the pages of forever,
they all laughed and danced and played.

Her Soothing Melody

Sweet whispers caress the night
as a gentle voice soothes the wind,
like calm words spoken by Mother
after a nightmare;
battling fear with bravery,
hushing nature's storm
with a simple song,
painting the moon with quietness
as her gentle voice soothes the wind,
like a melody from heaven's lodge.

Night Tunes

An orchestra of birds
Creates a mixed symphony-
Hoots of horn, sweep of violins
Enchanting flowers to whirl
And maples on pastures
Invite feathered friends
To nestle on their boughs--
Awaiting daylight's rhythmic croon.

Heat of Air

heat of air rattles
surrounding fluid whirlpool
a duckling's birdbath
