Temptation

It's all around me
the thoughts the fears the want
to put myself in a peaceful place
just to rest my demons from the
control they have over me.

Battle the demons the alcohol the drugs
the addiction the accident.

Find that safe place to clear your thoughts.

Acting on temptation is not the answer,
it's a temporary coping fix
and it works for the time being.

Battle the demons, win the battle.

Manage the emotion, be assertive to the demons within.

Where is that safe place I have yet to find?

The mind is an evil place at times definitely not a safe place
for now.

If I only could take control and win the battle the 
demons would disappear.....

2yrs After the Accident

2 yrs After the Accident

My life has changed completely and I know I'm not the same
I'm trying hard to beat this thing and no one is to blame
I struggle every day and night not to give up on the fight
The days go by confusing me because I'm not as bright
These last few years been horrible
Not knowing who I am
my minds been wiped of memories
Thank God you're not one of them
I may not be the same and I may not ever be
So when I say I don't remember I would not lie to thee
But I'm still here in body with a broken mind and sole
I'm working on some methods that may just help me reach my goal
Listening to doctors telling me what to do I follow that to try and help me out
But part of me believes it will and another part in doubt
So please remember who I was and accept there is now a change
I'm doing my best to deal with this I hope you can do the same

Just Breathe

Take the path in the direction you wish to travel
Listen to the wind, the birds, the nature as it flows 
in front of you
Smell the flowers, take the time and really breathe
in the goodness nature hands you.
Clear your mind breathe deep exhale all remorse
Take a moment maybe two and mindfully
recognize the beauty in nature and how
gratifying it is to be able to embrace its power.
JUST BREATHE!!!

Shun Electrical Wire

I want to get off the grid
Don't want to be governed by the viscous
circle of life
Live off what nature hands you.
Live off the grid
Be free in a cabin in the middle
of nowhere.
Separate from the hustle and
bustle of life.
Enjoy every aspect of life.
Do your own thing
without judgement

Just Cry

Don't hold it in, just release the inner joy, pressure and tension
It's okay to cry, let it out
No infant, child, woman, nor man should feel weak to just cry
The release of the amount of energy it takes to hold back tears
is wasted energy and time you will never get back.
