Parallel Are the Rails

PARALLEL ARE THE RAILS

(PRE-VERSE 1)
Feeling all alone
Cast away like a stone

Few friends what I got
True friends can’t be bought.

(VERSE 1)
Living is a joke
Think I’m about to choke.
Lookin’ at you
Lookin’ at me
Mirror is true (but the reflection is cracked)
False truths won’t set you free.

(Pre-Chorus)
I got my time
I got my rhyme
Beggin’ for a dime
Beggin’ for your time

(Chorus)
Bittersweet is the love (Sweeter than the lime)
Smellin’ like a clove
Burnt up in a stove
Rotting in a grove
Shrapnel of hardened nails
Pouring down like the rain
Storing away the parlayed pain
Parallel are the rails
Parallel are the rails
Parallel are the rails
Parallel are the rails
Parallel are the rails

(PRE-VERSE 2)
Heavy is the stone
When you’re all alone

Many friends were not what I thought
False friends are easily bought

(VERSE 2)
Drowning in the smoke
Deception is no joke
Reflection of you
Reflection of me
Mirror is true (but the reflection is cracked)
False truths won’t set you free.

(BRIDGE)
Dreaded are my locs
Dreadful are my thoughts
Locked away in my cerebral box
Cast away like abandoned lots

Got dreadlocks down below my needs
Beatles in the sound
Help me get around
Got hair like my ancestral Swedes

Brain damaged by Floyd
Brain examined by Freud

(PRE-VERSE 3)
Can I get a fix
Feelin’ a little sick
Like when I was six
Trippin’ over a stick

People like to stare
Like I’m some disease
But, I don’t care
I do as I please

(VERSE 3)
Ridin’ on a train
Lookin’ for a change
Freedom from the chain
Leaves me feeling strange

Lookin’ a little strange
Beaten by the chain
No time for change
Ridin’ on a train

(Pre-Chorus)
I got my time
I got my rhyme
Beggin’ for a dime
Beggin’ for your time

(Chorus)
Bittersweet is the love (Sweeter than the lime)
Smellin’ like a clove
Burnt up in a stove
Rotting in a grove
Shrapnel of hardened nails
Pouring down like the rain
Storing away the parlayed pain
Parallel are the rails
Parallel are the rails
Parallel are the rails
Parallel are the rails
Parallel are the rails

Mirror Universe

Mirror Universe

In the ethereal cosmos of your subconsciousness
Is the mirror universe
Of the symptoms of your stagnate mind
That you thought you left behind

A systematic reality in reverse
Of the astral plane

A seer whispers with suspicious viciousness
As you hold high your spear
In the crimson maw of Fenrir
Ending his eons of definitive reign

Chimera

CHIMERA

	(verse 1)
I’m scared to go to sleep,
so, I fight to stay awake.
But, I know the sandman will eventually win,
and my eyes will become heavy like a zeppelin.
Until that time comes around,
I’ll play him for the fool.
I can’t explain why I’m terrified,
the words aren’t taught in school.

	(chorus)
I’m trapped in a scream dream,
and serenity is coming up fast.
Things aren’t quite what they seem,
 and the calm won’t last.
Now, I”m floating on a lake,
 with the eternal crystal snake.

	(verse 2)
My skin turns as white as coke,
and my blood scorches my veins.
The walls are closing in all around me,
and the snowflakes burn through to my soul.
There’s an exit somewhere, but, I can’t see,
how do I get out of this hellhole?
Will you help me find my way,
or, have you already closed the doorway?

	(chorus)
I’m trapped in a scream dream,
and serenity is coming up fast.
Things aren’t quite what they seem,
 and the calm won’t last.
Now, I”m floating on a lake,
 with the eternal crystal snake.

	(verse 3)
I put my feet on the cold tile,
a floor that’s as old as the dead.
I pass out and choke,
 you think it’s a joke.
I’m gambling for my life, against the grim reaper,
but, I’ve got the aces up my sleeves.
Now, I’m walking in the valley,
between the living and the dead.

	(chorus)
I’m trapped in a scream dream,
and serenity is coming up fast.
Things aren’t quite what they seem,
 and the calm won’t last.
Now, I’m floating on a lake,
 with the eternal crystal snake.

I Don'T Care

I DON'T CARE

(verse 1)
Do you think I'm really lost,
what makes your religion my salvation?
How much will it really cost,
for the deluxe package of aggravation?
Rush to church on Sunday.
Crush the weak on Monday.
You better get out of my face,
and get off of my case.

(chorus)
I don't care,
and can't care........About your kind!
I never did care,
and never will care...............For you!

(verse 2)
Go off and fight your wars,
for your religious leaders or emperors.
Super troopers of death hiding behind their crosses,
never look back on all of the losses.
History is full of lies,
and time never dies.
Don't think I like,
and never will like.

(chorus)
I don't care,
and can't care........About your kind!
I never did care,
and never will care...............For you!

(verse 3)
They came to America from across the sea,
and the natives welcomed them with food.
The foreigners took greed to a new degree,
by killing the buffalo only for their fur.
When they raped the land from the tribes,
they forced the people to live on reservations.
They slaughtered their women and children,
and then burned down their villages.

(chorus)
I don't care,
and can't care........About your kind!
I never did care,
and never will care...............For you!

The Unnamed

(Intro)
Hello……..my friends.

(Chorus)
It’s nice to see you
After all this time……..once again
Where has the time gone off to
Are our memories of yesteryear
Still as fresh as the lingering pain
that flows like a sorrowful tear
Must we keep our emotions at bay
hidden securely behind a cerebral barricade
that’s built up behind a facade
started decades prior to yesterday

(Verse 1)
It’s anger that goes deeper than the oceans
It’s the splatter pattern on the wall
It’s the buried and pent-up emotions
that destroy everything like a raging flood
It’s the rage down the hall
t’s the satin sheets drenched in blood

(Chorus)
It’s nice to see you
After all this time…. once again
Where has the time gone off too
Are our memories of yesteryear
Still as fresh as the lingering pain
that flows like a sorrowful tear
Must we keep our emotions at bay
hidden securely behind a cerebral barricade
that’s built up behind a facade
started decades prior to yesterday

(Verse 2)
Smoking and drinking away life’s bitter potions
Like the needle to the groove,
That repeats the same stagnant track.
Never moving forward, always pulling you back,
through a life that you struggle to improve,
as you wither away in the putrid mud

Twisted Love

(verse 1)
You are not a stranger
to my ever loving anger
Violence is just a stain
hiding what’s in my abyss
Silence is empty bliss
tonight you’ll feel my strain

(Chorus)
I bring you down
to keep myself high
I keep you low
to bring myself up
feel my fist
twisted is my love
striked down by the glove
you are not dismissed

(verse 2)
Let the crimson rain
wash away the stains
from the pain
of the chains
keeping you down
Burdensome is the crown
forged by cataclysmic tendencies
and saturnine atrocities

(Chorus)
I bring you down
to keep myself high
I keep you low
to bring myself up
feel my fist
twisted is my love
striked down by the glove
you are not dismissed

Change To Black

“Change to black”

(verse 1)
I can’t see where we’re headin’,
don’t want to know where we’ve been.
I see the skies,
 changing in your eyes.
The heaven’s begin to thunder,
 as angels start to weep.
No, I can’t help, but, I wonder,
if it was something in my sleep.

(chorus)
The hatred that spreads around,
 makes a world that’s loveless.
And hearts that are destitute and slack,
will shrivel up and change to black.

(verse 2)
The earth starts to shake,
 as hell’s dominions laugh.
My body burns as it begins to quake,
and your love is something I’ll never have.
Sometimes I have to ask my self,
why the world screams at me.
I doubt I’ll ever know the answer,
because I’m the only one here!

(chorus)
The hatred that spreads around,
 makes a world that’s loveless.
And hearts that are destitute and slack,
will shrivel up and change to black.

Fade Off Into the Blue

(verse 1)
I’ve lived a short life,
for which my tears have gone dry.
 A state of mental confusion,
from a mother and father.
 Twisted lies, twisted truth,
which to believe, which to distrust.

(chorus)
Will I shine like the sun,
and glow with self loving esteem?
Or will i fade off into the blue,
with a mind that’s bashed by depression?

(verse 2)
A man that’s lost on a path,
that was created by a child.
What was it that I dreamed?
Was it lost in days of yesteryear.
Did daddy do what mother said he did,
and did mommy suffer the way she claimed?

(chorus)
Will I shine like the sun,
and glow with self loving esteem?
Or will i fade off into the blue,
with a mind that’s bashed by depression?

(verse 3)
When I turn old and gray,
will my friends and family stay?
Will I abuse my wife with fists?
Could I end up beating my kids verbally?
 Can I conquer the sickness,
or will it just be a fantasy?

(chorus)
Will I shine like the sun,
and glow with self loving esteem?
Or will i fade off into the blue,
with a mind that’s bashed by depression?

Children of the Nuclear Age Version 2

CHILDREN of the NUCLEAR AGE (version 2)
words by David A.P.

(verse 1)
Three angels were floating in the sky,
screaming with their wings that bled fire.
When are they going to die,
which of them is their crucifier?
Demons with frozen eyes, started to cry,
as they sank into the mire.
Can they tell the truth from a lie,
what is it in them that they desire?

(chorus)
The children of the nuclear age,
live in a land of debauchery.
They march to their tombs in rage,
to worship their warmonger deity.

(verse 2)
When they lost their control,
they didn’t mean to kill.
Although they enjoyed the thrill,
did they have mercy on their souls?
The mother earth swallowed their dead,
and she screamed in their heads.
Father time was laying on his deathbed,
and they drowned in a pool of red.

(chorus)
The children of the nuclear age,
lived in a land of debauchery.
They marched to their tombs in rage,
to worship their warmonger deity.

I Am, You

I am, you.

(verse 1)
The happiness, you think, you possess,
is only an illusion in my mind.
The hate you own is limitless,
and it's making you blind.
What you say is great ,
shall melt before your eyes.
The truth that you ejaculate,
is nothing more than lies.

(chorus 1)
I will always believe,
that you will deceive.

(verse 2)
I didn't ask, so, when did you think you could tell,
me how to live my life on this earthly hell.
Loneliness is forever in this cosmic void,
and my tears shall return to star dust.
I know you think you understand,
the reasons for the way I feel.
Your love is something I can never trust,
because, my emotions will end up destroyed.

(chorus 2)
If you want to know who I am,
I only have one answer, I am you!

(verse 3)
Do you still check under the bed,
and sleep with the covers over your head?
Do you pray to a real deity,
or do you worship a created god?
Are your dreams and nightmares of your past,
or of how you can destroy the future?
What happened to the happiness we never shared,
do you still suffer the way I do?

(chorus 1 & 2)
I will always believe,
that you will deceive.
If you want to know who I am,
I only have one answer, I am you!
