Change To Black

“Change to black”

(verse 1)
I can’t see where we’re headin’,
don’t want to know where we’ve been.
I see the skies,
 changing in your eyes.
The heaven’s begin to thunder,
 as angels start to weep.
No, I can’t help, but, I wonder,
if it was something in my sleep.

(chorus)
The hatred that spreads around,
 makes a world that’s loveless.
And hearts that are destitute and slack,
will shrivel up and change to black.

(verse 2)
The earth starts to shake,
 as hell’s dominions laugh.
My body burns as it begins to quake,
and your love is something I’ll never have.
Sometimes I have to ask my self,
why the world screams at me.
I doubt I’ll ever know the answer,
because I’m the only one here!

(chorus)
The hatred that spreads around,
 makes a world that’s loveless.
And hearts that are destitute and slack,
will shrivel up and change to black.

(Finished…..for now, may add more at another time.)
