Can You

Can you take me away dissolve these walls that contain me
lets plan an escape an than turn our fantasy to reality...
can you diminish the pain that seems relentless to leave my soul
can you do the job that no alchol or drug could do an make me feel whole...
will you be my enduring faith when im in the depths of my despair
will you show me unconditional love an be that one person that truly cared...

Stranger In the Mirror

when i was growing up i always wanted to be that one that u feared
than i woke up one morning an saw a stranger in the mirror.
with eyes so vacant an glazed,
results of living a lyfe in a constant haze.
didnt wanna go this far...
but tha crime an violence became my reality
tha money, gangs an drugs became apart of my family.
an thangs stopped makin sense when the bizarre didnt seem so crazy
a tru product of the streets
thanks to tha killers an drug dealers that rasied me.
but this morning i didnt recognize tha person i have became
what do u do when its all said an done?

Behind 4 Walls

Tha screams of broken men crys of lost souls,
With fire runnin through their veins an hearts stone cold.
There is no presence of god between these concrete walls,
In here u got to do what u got to just to maintain,
Havin pleasure 4 a cauple seconds than its turns to pain.
For us time stops but lyfe keeps movin,
Knowin u got to keep playin da game even if seems like ur losin.
Havin all ur hopes an dreams turn to despair an nightmares,
While losin ur mind in a cell an seems like no one really cares.
These 4 walls get smaller every year,
an my hatred grows more bitter wit every unshed tear.
This is how most of us become men,
behind 4 walls knockin on da devils door but he wont even let us in.
Stuck between heaven an hell,
wastin away behind 4 walls a concrete cell...

Troublesome Thug

Tha world showed no mercy on me so why should i,
I got a personal vendetta an this game got me meserized.
I'm suicidal with this thug life,
Retaliating for all tha stuff that never went right.
It's a intricate game that im playin to win,
An i cant speak with tha lord cuz im soaking with sin.
Evil lurks in tha shadow of my eyes,
Screams trying to escape tha dark coners of my solitary mind.
I was raised in tha slums so you know i got a thug mentality,
I know tha american dream aint nothing but a fantasy.
So some will say that im heartless an got no love,
If you asked me i aint nothing but a troublesome thug....

At Times I Wonder

At tymes i wonder will god really save me in the end,
should i quit while im ahead or keep playin the game to win.
will god show me mercy 4 doin thangs i had to do to maintain
Am i a victem of circumstances or am i the one left to blame.
everyday i ask myself should i carry on
when it seems everythang i try in do goes wrong.
Cuz when the sun comes up i dont c a new begainin
but a bad day that seems to have no endin.
just like when the sun sets,
i may lay my head down but i dont get any rest.
cuz at times i wonder...

Its About Tyme

I was once on the block doin nothin but chasing dreams
bein a shadow to a phantom you kno what i mean.
my goals were only one an that was make it thru the day
an my acheivements was only one an that was if by that tyme i got paid.
so you can c why my lyfe went down the drain
sprialing outta control lost in this game.
but most all my mistakes are becoming my lessons
an i realize now that i neva really got to count my blessings.
cuz i may be at my bottom but i can only go up from here
been to hell an bacc but aint got tyme to shed a tear.
now i realize its about tyme i asked 4 sum help
cuz ive been on my kness nite an day prayin 4 a way out.
I can no longer c thru all this darkness ive been walkin round blind
an now i need a lil light an im thinkin its about tyme......
