Darkness Descends

The night falls in a heavy, suffocating cloak.
The light for which I lust for flares once,
Then dies, swallowed by the abyss.
All hope perishes,
My heart beats no more.
How could you not understand,
My dark thoughts surround me, crying.
Save me from myself.

Hatred

What have you done to me?
A cloud of agony as thoughts creep.
Once we shared bliss, untainted and innocent.
But your love vanished.
Leaving behind a vengeful pool of hatred.

Do You See Me

Do you see me?
As I slowly come undone
Do you see me?
Faking a smile
Do you see me?
As everything seems to become impossible to handle again
Do you see me?
Crying myself to sleep
Do you see me?
As I finally break
Do you see me?
When no one else understands
Do you see me?
As I give my all when I have nothing left to give

Do you see me?
Slowly getting better again
Do you see me?
As I get back on my feet
Do you see me?
Smiling and laughing again
Do you see me?
As I start to become myself again
Do you see me?
No, because you never understood my pain.

Just One More Cut

Just. One. More. Cut.

she thought that was all

just one more sliver

and all would be solved

but the pain was addicting

she couldnt escape

she believed in redemption

enclosed in the blade

the cuts how they blead

dripping crimson release

and with a look to the mirror

sees a girl with a creed

To never admit this

to never reveal

the only release now

is with silver and steel

Her worries are worthless

her cries go unheard

and with each passing moment

she feels more despair

The daylight it dwindles

till moonlight appears

the darkness it covers

the sorrow filled tears

She stares at the slivers

the gashes too deep

she looks to the razor

as eyes shut to sleep

just one more cut

was all that she plead

but she took it too far

and now she is dead

Whispers

I'm there again.
The place I hate to be.
The place where all my thoughts are consumed by nothing.
Nothing but a soft whisper.
The whisper turns into a screaming crowd
Everyone asking the same question
Why not because no one will care?
A crowded room where everyone is looking.
Oh the disapproval.
Why is she still here?
Louder and louder.
Find a quick fix.
The sting is addictive.
That addictive sting brings silence.
How long...
How long until the whispers begin again?
