Christopher Russon Poem
No more elephants
Will there be
When man has
Taken all their ivory.
This giant big and strong
Without a legacy
Like many more the dinosaur
Who is now just history.
So you and I can but try
To show how we abour
The treatment of these giants
Without a legacy.
We know man's greed
Will not stop at killing these
The dolphins and the whales
And what about the forest trees
The earth is good with all it's green
And all the infinite features
But what good would all this be
Without these living creatures
No more the elephant
Will there be
When they have taken
All their ivory
AND DESTROYED THEIR LEGACY.

Christopher Russon Poem
It's such a pleasant morning
I'm not going to do a thing
I am sitting drinking coffee
I see a lovely display of Wings.
I love these early mornings
My working days now done
Watching birds of every kind
They really are such fun.
The crows they are going crazy
There are hundreds in the air
But the pigean on my bird stand
He isn't going anywhere.
Now a Blackbird he is gliding
In harmony with the breeze
He doesn't seem to worry much
He takes refuge in the trees.
What ever happened to the sparrows
We don't see them anymore
They always seemed to be around
A little bird that I adore.
Maybe there is message
In the way that these birds sing
Take note of there morning chorus
And there lovely display of Wings.
