Life-A Game

This world is a stage and men profound actors,
Life is nothing but exchange of joy and sorrow.
It is a combination of lend and borrow,
It depends upon trust and faith,
But it is an irony that except money and gain,
Everything we hate.

I believe life is not an act but it's a game,
A game devised and run by the almighty as a user.
To end his monotony, sitting in the heaven he plays,
We just as characters fit to his game,
With our lives and deaths,
Like the game of Super Mario he plays.

We are simply the puppets of his hand,
He makes us sit, makes us stand.
He gives us birth, gives ambitions and glory,
He controls us well, plays the game hard,
Concerned about our life more than we are.

We pass the stages of life one by one,
He takes our care more than anyone,
Then at last with valiant efforts
We get the queen of our dreams,
Unlike the game of Super Mario our life still streams.
As the increasing power of desire one cannot sustain,
And one fine day it ends with no gain, and only pain
On the Almighty's screen it displays 'TRY AGAIN'.

Selfie-Sh

The clock is ticking by,it has been the story of new era,
The step of improvisation taken by 'GLAMOURQUEEN'Shakira
Have a look all around the world the would be people,
 with smiling pout
Front cameras in action taking selfies out of doubt.

Selfies have changed the technique of photography since past few years.
Yes, it's true people do take selfies in both happiness and in tears.
Whether it's a happy or a sad gear selfies are a must.
Hence if you don't adhere to it your phone is going to rust.

There's no one here whose day passes without a selfie dear.
No matter whether it's an occasion of tear or cheer
Besides the clicking camera sound,
The sound of others calling you 'SELFIESH' you can hear.

Getting different poses to post,
In the world which is virtual for different gears.
Bulging lips and tucked stomach for the photo to appear real
It is 'KALIYUGA'now as the call it dear.
To get your photos clicked, one has to be 'SELFIESH' dear

But wait, in order to have selfies with adjustable backgrounds,
One forgets about the dangers lurking around
It seems 'HUMPTY DUMPTY' had a great fall while clicking a selfies around,
This 'Beware however 'SELFIESH' you are,
For your loved one you are the twinkling star.

Sonnets of Freedom

From now on the waters of Tigris,
Will not show blood stains and floating corpse.
Thereby bringing an end to the isis regime over cliffs,
Because 'Baghdadi' is no longer Mosul's boss.
The three long years of wait is now over,
Joy and tears of families reunited,
It's time for the Carrol's to be sung over and over,
It's that desired freedom for which Iraq forces fighter.
A question arises," Did they ever sighted?"
"Why not" comes an answer."The cruel militants had to be curbed."
Today, Mosul's independent mosques will ring the freedom bells,
And preach that 'Quran' teaches 'secularism',
Not 'Jihad',Mosul's people will feel the freedom in air.
'Progress Mosul's will be mentioned in their every prayer.

                         -ON THE EVE OF INDEPENDENCE

The Final Letter

You would have heard people say, "Boys don't cry".
But I would advise you do cry when your emotions are at high
But always remember one advice from your father's side.
Which you should always keep in your mind.
'Boys don't make women cry'.

No matter if in future India becomes a superpower or not,
But assure me that no girl would be described by the adjective sexy or hot.
Respect them always and you will find them by your side.
But remember to tell everyone that "Boys don't make women cry".

Let not December 16 ever come again.
And let not another 'Damini' cry again.
Die fighting for a girls life and I'll be proud.
If I found you teasing a girl instead I would prefer to see you under a shroud.
,"Boys don't make women cry"should be bold and loud.

Make a country where our daughters are safe
They should never fell that they are among hooligans and defendants of apes
A country where people are unaware of the word 'rape'
And by god's softies bring the law of country against rapists into shape.
Always remember women are neither 'sexy nor hot'.
They are blessings of God.

I tried my level best but I could not,
Please try to change the people's thought.

-FROM A CHIVALRIC DAD TO HIS SON.
