I'M Missing

Where I am, no man can find me.
My mind constantly confines me.
My voice is not the one inside me.
I’m lost inside, and only God knows where to find me.

I’m not afraid of death, it greats me.
I want to kill my demons, but they cheat me.
I say that I’m doing fine, but they defeat me.
I’m trapped inside, and only God knows where’s the real me.

Fancy-Free 5-25-17

I can’t get close to people,
I’m fancy-free.
I hide in the shadow of the steeple,
for eternity.
I see the world from my peep hole,
as my own VIP.
My brain is as sharp as a needle,
Yet my soul has abandoned me.
