A Message To My Love

I sit here reaching, hoping praying.
Lost in a sea of longing, wanting needing.
My mind keeps drifting, imagining, dreaming
as my heart is yearning, pounding, beating
I'd do anything for you, my heart is yours it's true
You make my world complete, you're all I'll ever need
As I sit and smile, sigh, laugh
You look at me happily, lovingly, completely
Our love is like a poem, a song, a fairy tale
Our life is amazing, wonderful, perfect.
I'd take any pain for you, Be there to see you through
Because I crave you, love you and need you.
You've become my everything, a blessing to me
I will love you till the day I die, that is no lie
My heart is true and only loves you
So thank you for loving me, giving your heart to me being my everything.

The Quest To Erebor

They were a battle-hardened Race
Due to the ire of a dragon they were displaced
With a boom thunderous and loud
At the Gate, it knocked while they stood proud

The Dragon took their home away
Many a Dwarf we lost on that day
As he looked to the ridge for a sign of hope
The Elves turned their backs and were no help

For many years his thoughts did dwell
On that day when his kingdom fell
He labored smithing in the city of men
To provide a life for his Durin Kin

Years would pass and there he'd be
He would meet Gandalf in the town of Bree
A map and key only known to him
The great Istari deemed a quest to begin

thirteen dwarves assembled to go
In the home of a Hobbit named Bilbo
Off to the east, it was their plan
over the wilds, their journey would span

Given to Him by Gandalf the Grey
this Map they learned spoke of Durins Day
The key presented had a use as well
A door it would open and then there'd be hell

The long awaited day would come
Return he would to the place he was from
Crossing the Mountains they were captured by a foe
Trapped they were with nowhere to go

In the nick of time Gandalf did appear
If he had not arrived there fate would have been severe
Down the Mountain, they all fled
Pursued Now by the Orc of dread

Cornered they were in the trees they fled
As Thorin's fury grew be began to see red
He rose on the trunk with no word said
His only thought he wanted Azog dead

With fierce determination, he ran headlong
for his vengeance, he could not prolong
Before he could strike Azog got the jump
Down to the ground, Thorin fell with a thump

Almost lost him was our fear
But under his breath a spell we could hear
Gandalf returned our King to me
And then on the horizon our home we did see

Broken

As the tears stream down my face
I wonder how we got to this place
why did you leave and walk away
In this darkness, I can't find my way

Love is like a knife it cuts too deep
Breaking your heart and leaving you weak
An open wound that will not heal
The endless pain is all I feel

Time and again I look back to those days
all the laughter and smiles we had it made
Those memories will never fade
And They will be with me always

You left without saying goodbye
you made me break down and cry
This loneliness is too much to bare
I've been looking for you everywhere

I gave you everything I had to give
without you, there's no reason to live
A broken heart that will not heal
I wish you knew how I feel

In this emptiness all, I can see
is you smiling back at me
Your eyes touch my very soul
making me lose all control

I find myself lost in a dream
you and I were the perfect team
But you left and walked away
Leaving me broken and in a daze

Now I sit here looking back to the day
wondering why you left and went away
No words spoken
Just my heart left broken

No More

His hand hits me and I go numb
A swollen lip, the outcome
Frozen in silence upon the ground
My courage cannot be found

I retreat into my mind
Leaving all else behind
Locking away parts of who I am
Keeping it safe from a madman

Black and blue color my cheek
The physical abuse is making me weak
Mentally, I am also stretched thin
My life threatened by a “has been”

No escape I am trapped
Over and over I am slapped
My eyes swollen from the tears
Pain I have endured for years

The day finally arrived
I got out, I survived
Locked away he did go
His existence no more than an echo

Future Realized

Cold lonely mornings
No one by my side
Heartbreaking memories
A past full of lies

Sitting in utter silence
An empty plane of existence
Everything ripped away
Left with no light to follow my day

But then you arrived
My heart slowly realized
You were who I was destined for
No more looking back to who I was before

A future not too far away
Longing to be with you one day
You showed me love could be true
My dreams now consist of you

You and I will be so happy
We will amuse each other by being sappy
By your side, I will be proud to be
Forever more just you and me

Happy Ending

The Darkness Devours
leaving me with no power
Lost in this endless abyss
Forever devoid of loves kiss

Suddenly a light shone bright
Robbing me of my sight
Huddled in a corner alone
I lay upon the floor prone

From around me I felt your arms
Your voice held many charms
My life was forever changed
Once our glances were exchanged

You held me close to your heart
Vowing that we would never part
Together we'd go through life
I left behind all of my strife

Now our forever can begin
No more looking back to where we'd been
You are now my happy ending
Our love is forever unbending

Waiting

I sit here alone in my existence
Waiting for the time we can be one
So many miles span the distance
As I sit watching the setting sun

Fears of losing you so strong
Nightmares showing me my darkest fears
No matter how much you say they are wrong
I am reduced to tears

Another day without you by my side
Waking to the sound of your ringtone
Raw emotions I cannot hide
Your voice soothes me to the bone

Technology makes me feel closer to you
I cannot wait to feel your touch
Our future is what I look forward to
I love you so very much
