OUR VETERAN HEROES OF THE WAR

Recently I watched a program on the Vietnam war
And I realized even more what these soldiers stood for
They were living in trenches that they called home
Sometimes being alone, and just thinking about the unknown
They were always under constant attack
But they always knew the other soldiers had their back
All they wanted to do was  survive
And try for everyone to stay alive
Some days they watch their fellow soldiers die
And they would look up in the sky and cry
Each soldier in this country has fought for our freedom
And today our soldiers have pleaded
On solutions that are still needed
Today some are homeless, and some need medical care
Nothing that is going with our veterans are fair
A lot of these veterans has P.T.S.D
These our strongest and bravest veterans
That you will ever meet in your lifetime
So today in this country is the right time
To show them love, and everything in the end will turn out fine

MY FATHER'S DAY LOVE

Father's Day is coming.
And I know all my sadness will be forthcoming
My children are my family
And in my life, I learned
From the best father
My father always asked me what I was thinking
And they were always there to listen
My father was strong
And help me teach me what is right and wrong
He was always there for my bad days
And when I also triumph
I learned a lot from the love he shared
With each passing day, he will always
Be a big part of my life
It was hard when you left
When you left I just wanted to say one last goodbye
I always wish my love was strong enough
So you would never have died
There is nothing in my life that
Would ever change that I love you dearly
My heart has one section that
Is meant just for you
My heart broke when I lost you
But I know part of my heart
Went to heaven with you
So on this Father's Day, I want you
To know I love you and miss you

Happy Fathers Day To My Son

Son even though you are far away

I'm writing this little poem

To say I love everything you have to say

Even though I don't take a lot of time to call or listen

I love you everyday that goes by

And I know saying I love you

It doesn't happen all that much

I will always care and love you forever

With all my heart

All I want to tell you

Thank you for being my son that always care

I know in our lives these days

There is not a lot of sons like you

I just want to say I

THE KING IS GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN

For the rest of my life, you will never be forgotten
Every day I will think of you again and again
My love for you will always be
And that will always be a guarantee
I know with all the love in my heart
Our hearts will never stop and being apart
Your heart will always shine
And our love for each other will never fall behind
Whatever the future brings
I know all of my tears will disappear
I will always remember your big smile
It always fits your perfect style
In your very short time
I feel you were a big legend to our family
And especially me
Your life was cut so very short
For all of us in our lives, this was our biggest lost
There were always funny things you would say
It seemed like it was every day
You will always be in my heart where you will stay
Today and every day
We still have fantastic memories
Which our hearts will never heal
The king is gone
But in our hearts will never be forgotten

YOU NEVER SAID GOODBYE

You never told me you were going
I don't even know the reason why
I never got to say my final goodbyes
God never gave us any warning

There were so many times I just kept on crying
There were so many times I needed just to talk
Maybe my heart alone wasn't enough
To see you were going through tough times

My love today will never be complete
With you gone my love for you will always stay strong
Part of my heart is missing
But I know you have the start of a new beginning

Will I ever have a full heart again?
I know you took the other part of my heart with you
I know you are in Heaven where you belong
And each day of my life I will always try to stay strong

Another One Gone

A young boy walks down a dark city street
His headphones on as he walks with a beat
For some reason he keeps on looking back
Because in his jacket there is a bag of crack
He keeps on looking for a buyer
In his very short life the boy has no priors
Turning on another dark street a dark car pulls up
All he can think is the police trying to set him up
The young man in the car ask if I have some 
The young boy turns  and pretends to play dumb
The man says you know what I mean
The young boy didn't want to cause a scene
Then the boy reached behind his back
And said you want some crack?
Then the young man in the car pulled out a gun
And then the boy just looked up and was stun
The boy tried to run
He knew this deal was finally going to be done
The young boy can hear a sound
As his body just hit the ground
All he could see is his blood all around
Another young boy gets killed
I don't know maybe he just doesn't have the skills
He was just trying to make ends meet
And try to get some food for his family to eat
But all that ever seems to happen
Is another young man passing
And another family sadden

MY RECIPE FOR LOVE

This recipe may take a long
Time to make
But in the end, it will come to you naturally
To start you need a big bowl of friendship
The next important ingredient is a cup of faith
You always have to believe you can do it
From there you need a teaspoon of loyalty
With loyalty, you have to throw in a half of cup
Of honesty, those two are perfect ingredients
To make it all work
Then you will need a half of cup of one big ingredient
And that is trust
Without that ingredient, the recipe won't work
In my marriage recipe, I would throw in a teaspoon of
Forgiveness. Without that ingredient the recipe
It will never be complete
Putting all these ingredients together may take some time
But learning something knew you will always need a lot of patience
In the end, mix all ingredients well
And take each recipe step by step
And in the end, you will have one perfect
Accomplishment

WHERE HAS THE TIME GONE

Where has the time gone
I keep on asking myself
It's so hard for me to remember when you were so young
It seems like the time just kept on ticking away
I missed all the years of you growing up
Sometimes when I look at your picture
I see what a big man you have become
I know we can't relive the past
Those days are all gone
And you  start bringing in the new future
I have to ask myself
Where is the baby I once held
When you were born
I guess I would be lying to myself
If I said I miss the laughter
And the love you brought into my life

FIND THE COST OF FREEDOM


How much does freedom cost?
Our young soldiers go and fight and get shot
How did this war even start?
What drove these countries apart?
There are so much pain and tears
Over all these years we had to say a lot of prayers
Are we losing too many soldier who are fighting
Or do more of our soldiers arriving
When will we stop hearing the bombs and shooting sounds
Or are more of our young soldiers have to be put in the ground
There are no real answers to stop this war and threats
We must always remember our soldiers and never forget
This world is full of hate
And every day there is a new conflict to face
Just remember freedom costs too much blood and lives
That leaves our loved ones at home with a lot of tears

YOUR PICTURES AND MEMORIES

Pictures all through my house
It gives me great memories of you throughout
I know you had dreams you wanted to pursue
But all I can say is I love you
Your picture always comes to me at night
And let me tell you it's a beautiful sight
I will always miss you
When you left I had no clue
We always had a great time
And to this day I thought everything was fine
I love watching you play sports
You would always give your best whatever it cost
You will always be in my heart
And remember any memory of you I always want to take part
