Sometimes its easier to pretend,
That you don't care.
Than to let your logic bend,
And twist towards unfair.
Its not easier to admit,
That its killing you.
When you are destroyed bit by bit,
And there's nothing you can do.

You are like darkness,
Exhausting and consuming.
You are like complete loneliness,
Silent and crooning.
You are like a shooting comet,
All sparks and glare.
You are like a winning bet,
As ushering as a stare.
You are like the glow of flames,
Ever so breath taking.
You are like accusing blames,
All smouldering and raking.
