Sick Sick Sick

Sick Sick Sick.
There was a youngin named was Vick
She caught a cold now she's sick.
She can't go to school,
she can't eat but lovely gruel.
She got sick because she got kissed on
By another youngin’ named Jackson.
"You'd better go to a doctor’s soon
or begin eating at every moon!
If you eat and get strong,
and you won't be there very long!
You'll be outside playing and things you like-
like playing tennis or volleyball or even taking a hike!
You can feed the horse without even feeling hoarse."
"Can I search for metal?" "Well, of course!
You can play games and climb the fence,
You could even learn to fence!
“Give me that pill!
I need to be rid of this ill!"
So the doctor said, "Now let’s listen
and don’t think twice; now don't be kissin'
And if you don’t obey what I’ve said,
Then you'll climb right back here in bed!"

Lightning

Lightning
It zooms through the sky
Lighting up your eye
As I sit and sigh
There is no other phenomenon that can buy
The love illuminated in your eye.

Goodnight

I speak these words then go to bed,
But these thoughts still swirl in my head.
I look in his eyes, glimmering with love
As I ponder his heart from above.
He whispers in my ear, "goodnight my darling, rest your little head."
