I Was a Fool

I was a fool by making the first move
When I first saw you

I was a fool by putting in my all to prove to you
Knowing that what we had wasn’t true

But I wasn’t a fool when I said I do
and was ready to live the rest of my life with you

Being with you is true cos you the one I chose but letting you go is good
cause without you I can do good...

My Heart Bleeds

Abomination after abomination, sorrows and tears fill my eyes
Seeing my children in despair, with hope and aspiration I remain.
Infidelity, rotten my roots, my heart tumble and falls
With the pain I continue to bear.

I have filled their van with good produce and abundance rainfall;
wash away their lands from stains and brighten their homes with the finest of lights.
But still! I'm not seeing my way through.

How does all this happen? I sometimes wonder.
My hope is to see them flourish, prosper and live in unity.
As I wait to pass on my final judgment.

Life

A place fills with uncertainty
light and hope disappear
Freedom of speech is luxury
Agony is the order of the day

At last! Came the sun
That brightens everyone’s day
To whom do we deserve this?
Praises and thanksgiving is all we give..

Depression

Came into this world innocent as I look
Cried and pee I had my first taste.
Corrupted by this evil world
Into a beast I became; my heart was hidden in an iron cage
Waiting to strike my house maid.
Sorrow and pity I had for no one; as I took my final stand.

Then came a creature dress in white, holding a book with a holy cross on it
Learning and listening as I had my first experience
Not knowing what this new experience would be.
Deeper and deeper I got involve before realizing the changes made,
singing and praises is all I do
And whenever I’m down and feeling depress, I read the book of Job to make my day..
