The Puzzle of Life

Life is a puzzle that's been blown on the wind. Scattered pieces all over, we
start with the ends. The corners and edges are easy to find, it's the center pieces
that take the most time.
With each day that passes we find a new piece bringing us closer to the day we
complete our puzzle of life that's been blown on the wind, only to tear it apart
and start over again.

A Gift of Love and a Prayer of Thanks

In the days since we first met I have only this one regret, that day and night I am
not by your side. For this I do pray and let God be my guide.
Our love is strong, yet I am so weak. This life with you is all that I seek. Nothing
more from God would I ask, but grant me lord this one small task.
Our love is pure, simple and true, want to spend every moment just being with you.
In your arms I long to be, you seem to know my every need.
Just know that I love you mind, heart and soul, it is with you that I want to grow
old.
So lord as I pray that this dream will come true, for this gift of love I am
grateful to you.

My Sweet Anise

Dear Sister,
You have been a friend of mine since before the begining of time. Through many
lives we have been friends or lovers but mostly kin. We share much more than earthly
things, our lives entwined like cosmic rings.
Through all of time and all of space no one or nothing could ever replace the love
for you that I feel in my heart, not even death can keep us apart. For you are in me
as I am in you from that one spark we now are two.
I take comfort in knowing that not only are you my sister but my very dear friend,
in this life forever and always...MY COSMIC TWIN.

Lies

I am afraid that I've lost you before you were mine. I hope we've not lost our
somewhere in time. Will the feelings we've shared now be denied all because
someone decided to lie?
Your beautiful smile, your warm embrace, your big, strong hands that once
cradled my face. Your soft, sweet lips that I so long to kiss, these are a few
of the things that I miss.
The warmth that we've shared, that has joined our hearts may now grow cold
because we're apart. All because someone decided to lie we may never share our
"Somewhere In Time".

American Pride

You messed with our system. You tore up our lives. Because of you we now have to
fight. We lived in a world of peace, love and hope then you crashed a few planes
and went up in the smoke. Taking with you thousands of lives, husbands and children,
brothers and wives.
Many a tear on that day was shed for the loss of those lives and the blood that was
shed. So now we must send our nation to war to avenge our fallen and even the score.
This war was not chosen, not even planned. They dealt the cards, we must now play
our hand.
Thank God for America, united we stand. We'll do what it takes to protect our great
land. We're coming to find you, we will make you pay for all you have done on that
September day!

The Colors of Life

The colors of life they bleed on your soul leaving their mark on the young and the
old. They mold us and shape us and make us aware that there is something bigger out
there.
The colors of life, most of them bright, but for some such a tiny, dim light, for
they do not know how the colors they bleed. They're eyes are not open, they cannot
see that the colors of life that bleed on our souls helps make us stronger so that
we may find peace.

Here I Am

I am here and yet you don't see me. Oh, how I want you and yet you don't need
me. I long for your warmth day after day and still you are so far away. Side
by side we stand all day and you have yet to say okay.
Someday your eyes will open and you will see the person beside you, that wants
you is me.

Somewhere In Time

Your eyes they burn holes so deep in my soul, reaching to depths that once were so
cold. Warming my heart and letting me feel the things that I thought could never be
real.
Waking me up from a life long slumber, making me aware of this need, such a hunger.
A thirst for the things that cannot be mine, maybe I'll find them somewhere in time.
