Hollow Persuits

you tell your self,
he had it commin'
your friends "felt"
that he was gunnin'

on your tongue the
taste
of sour grapes
another one
of your great escapes

wagon train.. smoke
and dust- there is
no love, where there
is no trust-

we stagger on,
blind and numb...
face to face with
what we've become

hollow persuits...
what's the use?
there is no hope
where there is no love

logic, bought and sold-
how was i to know?
a child on a swing,
untouched by deceit-

removed from times' rust
she, wanted very little-
a smile, any small display
of love....

years of wasted tears, shattered dreams, dishes
and empty cups
over used excuses, blame, and
abuses

enough, never close or touched
without hope,
there is no love-
within a childs' heart, resides.....

a secrete place,
where love quietly ,
paiently, resides....

Yesterdays' Forgotten

some where- stygian transgressions are
carved into impervious hillsides-
fossilized relics, their
meanings yet undeciphered-
blistered fingered sculptors
gifted with
quixotic acumen, chant
mystical word songs -
translucent echos dance around
opaque distant moons-
images rise- phenoix eyed vigilant
reminders-
of a time gone, but not forgotten

Broken Verse

wall and door
window lock
broken roof
leaking
paint peels
always
what to do
oh- od twa
ever more
shut this
let it soar
on yes on
its' own
on yes on
it goes

Blossom

I rise out of
this perpetual
secrete
dream season-
gifted with
quixotic acumen
osirus like
effortlessly ascending
thru
barren eternal
death smoke....
 on raw,
porcelain smoothe
night winds
with
the illusionary motionless
ness of
huming bird wings
dancing
naked and wild
beneath reasons
brilliant lunacy
to the
shadow magic song
of
universal infinity
translucent star beams
replace
skin and bones
restrictions-
now free of fear and
dogmatic convictions-
one with worm echo,
demons and witches-
life is a precious thing-
be careful how you
live it-
