she lies naked in the ashes of a love affair 
burning her memories   
waiting for the numb  
or the madness 
she welcomes either 
and prays for both  
haunted by his echo 
his essence
his every word 
devouring her sanity 
his ghost possesses her 
guiding her han6ds
arousing old desires
too stubborn to die 
too beautiful to forget
