Patrick Mcfalls Poem
Am I made of chocolate? I don't feel sweet
But when I am near you I melt at your feet
This puddle you stand in; it used to be me
A bit of a mess now but still a fine treat
With distance to aid us; I'm retaking form
I used to be chocolate but now I'm a storm
My wind cannot cool you; So perfectly warm
And even my lightning can't help but adore
Such a beautiful woman; Transforming a man
From clown into poet into number one fan
Of those magical eyes; My God do they span
To her heart from her soul then back again
It takes just a blink; To cease asking why
You have so much charm in such epic supply
Unlikely you'd notice; Should some go awry
The goal of this story was making you mine
Well maybe not that; But vent some release
Feelings inside make one weak in the knees
And I don't often find; A redhead to tease
Using my poetry boredom disease

Patrick Mcfalls Poem
Instead of well thought out themes
Let's try madness supplies
And if that ends in failure
Let's try out a disguise
Phoney glasses and trench coats
Let's try face smacks in pies
When we are done being morons
Let's try touching the skies
You can stand on my head
Let's try tanning our thighs
I didn't mean it like that
Let's try that last one twice
Ok that is what I meant
Let's try A La Vomit Surprise
I'll even clean up your puke
Let's try and limit the sighs
You don't even eat carrots
Let's try not asking why
Oh God babe, how I miss you
Let's try muffling my cries
I'm too sad now to write more
Let's try love in our lives
Not now is just fine babe but
Let's try 'for one of us dies
You know you complete me
Let's try something unwise
I freaking love you, don't be angry
Let's try undoing goodbyes

Patrick Mcfalls Poem
Throughout life adventures, we seldom find
A person that lifts us and forces us kind
Without any warning you rendered me blind
To my own reflection, my peace of mind
The scent of your hair and the shape of your face
So silent those foot steps, from only your pace
Still do they reveal this girl out of place
Whoever I am now knows only your grace
In my arms you belong, know it never be so
But fair chance you did give me to water it grow
With failed dismissal my love brightly glows
Just as friends now is bitter tongue I woefully know
This bond is beyond more than anything just
A lake and her tributaries all burning with lust
Cried out then dried out, as they knew they must
A dear friend still awaits you, if you don't mind the rust

Patrick Mcfalls Poem
So dear to me dear you get words in a box
Afraid of me fear of me fear you should not
Love for you to prove to me that love it is not
Forget me if you wish but forget you I will not
Not even close I will not close this wound
Not for you I shall heal nor shall I reveal
Not the tears and their salt albeit my fault
Not one time did I beg you but beg I do now
Stay by my heart by my heart you will not
Again see neglect for neglect I will not
Let my pain cause us pain for if it were not
For you babe I am lost beyond lost
Not in one life could ever one find
Not again such a gem or again such a prize
Not a day since we met have I met with regret
Not willing to lose you will lose me my mind
