A Little Confession To Papa

#5

I asked myself
Why can’t I be like her?
Calved in a very luxurious life
Loaded with an abundant wealth

She might never felt this
About all of these worries that I hold

That I also had a dream
A dream that I believed
A concreted one
Such concreted till I could probably just have reached out my hands and achieved it easily

I hold onto that dream for years
Went into a good institution
Forced myself to do everything perfectly
I put my own laziness just to make it happen
Was struggling and hard working
Motivated myself each time I bushed

But when it’s time for me to continued it
I realized
That I didn’t have enough money to spend
To helped me achieved my biggest dream

I cried and prayed
I confessed to whom I always believed as my creator
I asked Him but I was too afraid to do so
Because I already asked Him that much

I told Him about my worries
But I still didn’t get the answer

Father, just let me know
That I could still be success one day
Though the path wouldn't be as smooth as I expected

Papa, I am sorry
That I can’t keep my promise
I promise to make you proud
I promise to reach that scholar and study abroad for you
I am sorry, I couldn’t even make you happier during your life

Papa, I am sorry

Words Before I Die

#11
To my beloved Daddy,
Who sacrifices all
Admits my limit
Gives me all that you have
Though maybe it is the least to fulfill a feast
Thank you

To Rida and Tania,
The representation of every essential things
My one and only best friends
Partners in everything
Thank you

And alas,
If God will luckily call me
And the Reaper will unfortunately wait for me
I just want you to know
That I do, really love you
In every cell of my body
And in every stream of my blood

And if, I have to go straight where I should purify my sins first
Which has been foretold by the people
That it will hurt, very hurt
The sorcery and the agony
I am ready
And I won’t even regret
Because I already have my heaven
Here, with you
I love you.

This One For Natan

#4
I remember that time
When our eyes caught a blink of a sight
His smiles that taught me much
His eyes that showed the burning fire
The beauty of his wrinkles and flaws
That’s when his imperfections become perfections

Such an amusement when first time I saw you
When my heart accidentally decided that I know it’s you
Though I know we could never be together
Though I know, I was just stupid
That these distances make us apart

I distinctly remember
That sunny day of December
When I finally confessed
The feeling that I couldn’t hold anymore
And when it’s time for me to chose
Did I just admire?
Or did it love?

Parts of me shrieked
“Yes, you just admire him!”
But there was a shout within me
A single shout that I abandoned
Whispered gently and softly
“You love him,”

And yes, I love you.

Daddy's Little Words

#7
“Dad, why weren’t we rich?”
“Dad, why couldn’t we travel somewhere?”
“Dad, why was it had to be cheap when I wanted to buy something?”
“Dad, did you even have any stock?”
“Dad, my friend’s parent had bought a new apartment”
Daddy this, Daddy that…

Yet I saw his wrinkles, covered smoothly in his cheeks
Dazzled around his eyes, dancing in the middle of his tears
He might spoke, but not a word to answered
He might cry, but not a single drop to fell
Inhaled and exhaled
Time’s stop
A disguised mass had just slapped me right through my face
By the time, Daddy unlocked his thoughtfully wise words
And spoke gently
And let the atmosphere soothed by itself

“We weren’t rich, we had nothing to spare
And all, as a matter of fact
We were nothing
Your ancestors, they did something great for our country
But none of theirs would be yours
You were no heir
We didn’t expect much,”

Words of abused
Crossed around the ears
Dashed through that almond-widened eyes
In a lack of anything
And a desperate whisper
He slowly finished his words,

“So, if one day, at a time
You would be able to conquer
You would be at the highest
And a hand that reached the star
Confronted with an abundance sadness
And formed it with happiness
You would be able to go wherever you wanted
And bought whatever you asked
…
It would be all of your own struggle
That you did it all by yourself
Those would be the impact of your effort
And that you would be satisfied
And that we would be proud
For those that you’ve had work on for
You deserved that.”

We Could Never See Again

#10
I’ve never felt so mocked by your words
You have known me
Better than else
But then what happened?
Words were just appeared
With no regret, you have said it
Weren’t able to distinguished
And so, the heart tore
And friendship gone
Away in miles
Where we could never see again

She Needs Her

#2
You’re in grief, and the worlds accept
Your struggle, change the world’s concepts
It was she who confronted that much
Hers, whom they matter that much
She smiles and laughs
Yet inside full of doubts
She cries and sighs
But still fights
Mostly, but not always
Blamed by the blaze of people
Reckless and wrecked
Shy and wicked
And she accepts all of those
Keeps it inside, deeply inside
And pretends not to care
To whom she dare

First

See that girl with her lights dim
Didn’t realize her own self
She won’t listen, no she won’t listen
And who am I to say?
Who am I to interferes?
We’re in grief
But mine was enough
Both confessed, but both lied
Both convinced, but both left.

His 27th of December

#6
See his friend’s sketch
Appear when she was bored
That blue collared jacket
Fits perfectly on his bod

Glasses and smiles
And giggles and laughs
Painted in adorable colors
And named with his

A question came
Doubts appeared
Jealous lit

But then
Slowly got the answer
Sparkled within her mind
Though they were apart

That those weren’t supposed to bother
For love itself would still be fine
When bullets shot, and hurt the heart
Remember his 27th of December.
