A Will of Fire

When your world darkens
When your will gets shattered
When your fire becomes weak
when your strings get cut
When your heart gets broken
When your about to give in

Think of why you have come this far
Think of why your fire is still burning 
Let it fuel you, let it ignite your soul
No matter what the world throws at you
No matter how bad you hurt, and want to give up
You must never give in and submit

Get up and take back control
Push yourself to the limits, never falter, never surrender
Pick up the pieces, get new strings, ignite yourself 
Make the darkness fear your will of fire, for you pain is temporary
The darkness will burn, it will weaken
Your will of fire will guide you and others out of the dark and into a new dawn

What Am I

To be so easily passed by
Walked through like a figment of my own sick imagination
It makes me wonder what I am 

Only noticed when someone is in need
Then thrown aside like a peddle cast into the ocean
Brought along only to be the spare, and extra

What am I
Forgotten those that I once called family
Left behind by all

What could I be 
To be so easily used and then left
Could I still be a person?

Can I still even be a man?

True Friendship

Friendship is something that should be kept 
A friendship can last a lifetime and then some

To have a true friendship means you will never be alone
You will always have a friend who will be there for you 
They will listen to you, they will cry with you
They will lift you up when you get knocked down, they will help you heal
A true friendship is worth more than the most expensive thing
A true friendship is more sacred than the holiest of items
A true friend will never turn their back on you

She Haunts Me

She haunts me, she haunts me day and night 
She haunts my thoughts my dream turn into nightmares
Every waking minute, every sleeping hour haunted by the her image
She appears, her eyes judging my soul, seeing the color of my heart
She has taken control over me

I beg, I plead, yet she will not listen to me
She still pulls me along with a thorned chain wrapped around my black heart
I wish to leave, yet she holds me, but she keeps me chained
I am a shell of what once was, the ghost of a man damned by love
Tortured by the one i care most about,
My love it haunts me, She haunts me

Love With a Black Heart

Love, what is love
Scientifically love is a chemical reaction 
but it is something deeper than that
it is the feeling you get for one single other person
one that you would go to hell and back for 

But not every feels the same
at a point in someones life they offer their heart to someone
and that person gives it to someone else
when that happens they try and give it to other people
but instead of giving their heart they are giving themselves away
until one day they give up on love

When someone hits that point they become different than everyone else
they see the world in a single color...black
the heart, soul, mind all of it is black as the depths of space
they become hard, they body grows tired, they see nothing except darkness
they become shambling people who are just trying to stay in line with the world

I have become one of these beings of black,
everything i touch or try to care about drifts away and dies, or turns on me
I wish to see the world like everyone else, but I have chosen my path in this world
I use my darkness to bring the light out of others dark, maybe this is my new way of showing love?

So I ask you, when you stare into the mirrors eyes, what do you see?
Do you see the darkness of lost love, or the light of a happy heart?
I ask What is love, to you?

You
You brought me out of the darkness
You grabbed me by my hand, by my heart 
You pulled me into the light

You brought warmth to my cold body
You put a feeling back into my heart 
You turned it back from the black of death
You ignited my hopes, my dreams

Their is a girl 
A girl who pulls me out of the darkness 
She breathes light into my dark heart with a smile
She shows me the beauty in the world, through her laughter
She takes my breath away with a simple look
There is a girl who can save me from the dark

A girl who eats away at me, she has become my captor
For I couldn't bear to see her hurt, see her crying
I can't bear to see her brought into my world of black
