Briana Person Poem
Makeup covers the scars
Smiles cover the pain
What much is there to gain?
As lighting strikes and later rebounds with a sound
The thought of her ever being hurt could not be found
“Why, Where, What is going on?” they ask
As the girl, continually hides behind the mask
Is it because she is ashamed of her past?
Is it because she is anticipating it would not last?
What actually could be beneath?

Briana Person Poem
I said, “I don’t like my nose.”
God told me, “Your nose is beautiful.”
I said, “I don’t like my smile.”
God told me, “Your smile brightens the day.”
I said, “My eyes are too big.”
God told me, “I see too small.”
I asked him, “What does that mean?”
God answered, “You’re looking in the wrong mirror.”
I asked, “What are you talking about?”
God answered, “Here, turn to me. Now, what do you see?”
