Insight

We are all but a blink of life.
In a universe far older than we will ever truly know.
In this world full of greed and materialism.
We all reap what we sew.
For those given wealth and commonplace in life
Will be no different than the person next door.
We all float in an ocean of bodies crashing apoun the shore
And living is the struggle for those who have earned their place in life.

Consequence

There is a world out there that not all can see.
A world of peace and harmony.

There is a wind that blows that not all feel.
And the father who's been delt a bad deal.

There are clouds that form that not all can touch.
And a mothers love can help so much.

There is thunder in the heavens that not all can hear.
Hold your child close so they will not fear.

There is rain that falls where no one can hide.
But their are people who have tried.

But there will always be stars deep in the sky.
Watching your every move so do not lie.

In this world we have made alone.
We are all responsible for ones own.

So take it all in and change your path.
So the world of tomorrow won't suffer your wrath.

I'M Not You You Are Me

My heart is closed theirs no despair.
You won't get in not anywhere.

This smile is mine and mine alone.
Solitude I stay i must atone.

The weight of my burden crushes my core.
But I remain here evermore.

Content my dreams are real to me.
This is my gift for all to see.

My lips they quiver and sight it fades.
And here I'll rest within the shades.
