Dear Victim

dear (i am not a) victim,
i am an orphan, fear
is an endorphin
(easy release)
morph into beast
-i hate you- to
say the least-
to say the most,
i love you (are
toast) buttered up
moist & tempting-
dear victim, you are
a fling, i got (too
excited, broke a wing)
something to quench
your thirst- bubble
burst, the worst is
near & i'll stay until
the coast is clear

Golden Egg

you don't even know
where to go what to say
how to hear- be here now
today come play i'll stay if i
may- your seed plus me makes the
golden egg i lay- i listen when you
pray your head down body slouched into a
frown not making a sound but so so- loud is
an oxymoron in certain context contradictory reflex
we must keep them perplexed eventually the attention
will be put to- rest easy it's a measly amount
of time this life it's easy to be this blithe cuz
the spirit is not in- tangible exchangeable
can't get what i want circular return policy
keeps entertaining- sissy refraining from
accepting their presense & naming them we
all count- yes but it is always such a
mess i must confess- too much to
repress so compressed the leak was a tad
expected- too bad no one detected & now
we'll remain infected

I'M Wrong.

solicit implicit decrepid respected collected WARFARE.
i am you are he she it we all are selected to immediately
care i don't you should but i wont such would impair
my ability to comfortably share with you the facts
at hand the pervasive demand i command you stop
being evasive this is the time to act react counteract
refract the light back where it belongs so strong
let it linger not too long enough to make them see
i'm wrong.

Leaking Faucet

my mind is a
-leaking faucet-
completely lost it-
forgot when i had it
last- slave master
-contradiction in terms-
specs- no less- incompletes
taking turns- faking
the best- guilty conscience
-hypersensitive-
flailing about- dirty
snout- no punishment
compares- beyond repair-
greeting good intentions-
wide eyes- stoic despair

Dear Dope

dear dope
you come at me willfully
dripping deliciously from the
lips of (a) god (somewhere)
dear dope
ripping at tangles in my hair
you are a telescope of
persuasion (manifest
destiny) tokens that can be
tasted (but not touched)
dear dope
double dutch dialect
murmuring
the misused jumprope
sudden swift (sigh)
unties & slides oh
dear dope

It's Quiet, Suffering

it's quiet,
suffering, it's a quiet &
limp thing. questions
open like books
unread, under(stood),
dusty splintered shelf.
unable to maintain the
self contained war
silent film overlayed
descriptions over &
overplayed; the maid
refusing to leave,
can't breathe can't accept
status position to be
human-
it's quiet, suffering-
something not to be
spoken of.

Flask

dear change,
i've seen you here before
scratching scoundrel
itching with mange-
the undomesticated mutt.
charmed, finessed (i am
the butt of your joke) (you
are the ash to my smoke)
dear change,
loop swoop pull &
push- peering thru the
burning bush, all
teehees & cracking
leaves; oh dear
change, i only want to
ask, will you share
whatever's in your
flask?

Anger

anger is the flush that clogs that
fills the pretty pretty air with smog-
it isn't fair but it's over there, watching,
peering, lurking, jerking
off & leaving
nasty sticky stains-
don't strain yourself, it comes
& goes without warning, swarming
the innocent family, surrounding, pounding
its way in- using ears mouths & limbs
as entrances, arriving confetti sparkling
the sinuses of thought- i'm sneezing-
i'm seething- i'm wrought with mucus-
murky tunnels that seem to be getting
smaller smaller too
small to
fall-
i crawl
blissfully unaware
i'm spiralling inward
-because i care, i don't-
i am the bird smashcrumbling into the ever
clean glass, the massive shatter overrides
& then destroys the whisper (pitterpatter) the
suddenly splattered convoy of intensity- can't
help can't stifle this propensity to continue,
to punctuate 'accident' with perpetuity;
such stability is fluid, washes,
evaporates,
brings the spirit up only to
dissipate, fall, & falter again.

Alley Cat

once there was a girl
with big green eyes
yet before the sun
was fully seen,
(big surprise) someone
unfurled the girl-
what more- what poor
poor innocent soul
who suffered the toll
some body stole.
how sweet it was-
remeet me cuz
i'm gone. so smart
such great potential-
starving artist (seemingly
essential) make me
what you want to
see; i'll be whoever,
i'll do it with glee,
(when i cannot see)
i trust you- you
lust me- i'm confused
until you teach me,
burst in, breaching my
little brim. no matter,
come in! come in!
it isn't i who commits
the sin-
not i, i couldn't even see in.
so much for growth, the
more sparks, the more it
distorts- creates distinct
pieces. stored in creases of
my skin oblivious, content
with the innate terror.
i'm a blinking VACANCY- what
you see __ whatever you
please. sit, stay- shut up &
lie complacent; don't cry-
don't choke on the chain. nothing
in life is fair- come one- come
all, ride this- ride that
(all the while he sat,
cleaning himself like an
alley cat)

Much Room To Squirm

i am contrite when i contrive when i ruthlessly deprive
i relate when i sedate when i have a happy plate-
my remorse is discoursed thoroughly,
forced to pout with a broken snout-
my plight is to unite to stop the fight &
begin anew facing the same direction,
to gnaw & chew away the infection,
to leave no flesh to fester.
don't think this clever, the endeavor is
wet soap tumbling from my hands- i'm just
the dope clinging, pretending i'm cleaning,
singing incoherently, blatantly losing 'it'
(coincidently he / she / it / they
developmentally disabled) the label enables much
discrepancy much room to squirm betwixt firm
boundaries & morals mixed (such a beast must be fixed)
quarrelsome quaint & transfixed
at the concept- socially inept suddenly-
(intercept the spirit, pretend hard not to fear it)
